Professional Development Helps Ensure Successful Implementation Heading

Ramp-Up to Algebra includes extensive teacher support embedded in the teacher materials and included CD.

In addition, America’s Choice offers a professional development option. Our certified coaches provide insights and support— technical, practical, and theoretical—to ensure that succeed with implementation and delivery of the program. Over the course of eight days of training, teachers learn new ways to approach mathematics instruction, including

pedagogical insights
conceptual alignment
facilitation techniques
strategies designed to support ELL and special needs students
a solid understanding of the curriculum

This professional development option includes a one-day orientation for supervisors and others who will support the teachers in Ramp-Up. Schools receive a Supervisor’s Guide to Ramp-Up.
