For its regional offices and large district and state projects, America’s Choice hires staff locally and draws on highly qualified educators who know the area and understand local challenges.

• North Region general manager Stephen Perepeluk, formerly chief executive officer and president of Classroom, Inc., was director of literacy for the New York City Department of Education.

• Project manager Rochelle Herring has been consultant-in-residence to the Holyoke, MA school district, having completed the Urban Superintendents Program Internship with the superintendent of schools in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Peter Heaney is superintendent-in-residence for America’s Choice. Dr. Heaney is a former regional superintendent (Region 9) for New York City and former executive director of the Division of Instructional Support the New York City Department of Education.
