Literacy Navigator modules engage students in reading to build comprehension. The Foundations module’s Student Reader contains texts arranged in a sequence that requires readers to bring forward and apply knowledge from previous readings. To help students build a mental model, readings increase in difficulty as the module progresses.

The Word Study Student Reader module, challenges students to expand their vocabulary by working with target words, prefixes and suffixes, word families, pronoun references, phonics, and decoding.
