America’s Choice senior staff members help teachers transform classroom practices to raise student performance levels. We work with the school Leadership Team, school-level coaches, and classroom teachers using a process of needs assessment and evaluation, demonstration, modeling, and ongoing observation and feedback. We help create a collaborative environment in the school where giving and receiving constructive feedback becomes part of the school culture.

Our on-site technical assistance and coaching

• Shows teachers how to help students make standards their own, so they can judge the worth of their work and know what to do to make it reach the standards
• Introduces powerful new tools and programs, explains how they work, models their application, and helps school staff become experts
• Guides school Leadership Team members in analyzing data and setting targets, as well as making decisions about resource allocation
• Helps school Leadership Teams and teachers use data to pinpoint student needs and identify the right kind of interventions and strategies to improve performance
• Creates a collaborative school environment where everyone shares the same vision of success

We offer a standard version of the design as well as an intensive version for schools that face restructuring or are in corrective action, according to No Child Left Behind guidelines. The intensive version includes significantly more coaching and professional development than the standard version.
