Tier 3: Intensive Intervention

America’s Choice Georgia Mathematics 1 Support Course and Georgia Mathematics 2 Support Course are targeted
intervention programs that focus on the prerequisites and the concepts and skills necessary for mastering the Georgia
Performance Standards for Mathematics 1 and Mathematics 2.

Designed as supplemental Tier 3 intervention programs for students in grades 9 and 10, Georgia Mathematics 1 Support
Course and Georgia Mathematics 2 Support Course will strengthen students’ performance in their core math classes.

All six units for Georgia Mathematics 2 Support Course will be available in December 2010.
